事情的真相

一個小朋友問一位富翁說：「叔叔，你為什麼這麼有錢？」
富翁摸摸小朋友的頭道：「小時候，我爸給了我一個蘋果，我賣掉它，再想方法用低價買了兩個蘋果，後來我又這樣賺了四個蘋果。」
小朋友若有所思地說：「哦…叔叔，我好像懂了。」
富翁說：「小朋友你懂個屁啊！後來我爸死了，我繼承了他全部的財產，這才是我富裕的真相。」

給創業者提個醒，不要癡迷于從閱讀成功人士的傳記中找經驗，這些書大部分都經過了精緻的包裝，很多重要的事實都不會告訴你。

例如，比爾蓋茨的書不會告訴你他母親是ＩＢＭ董事，是她給兒子促成了第一筆大生意，巴菲特的書只會告訴你；他８歲就知道去參觀紐交所，但不會告訴你；是他當國會議員的父親帶他去的，而且是高盛的董事接待的。

這才是很多事情的真相！！

Hotel/Motel Scam (This one is so simple it is shocking)

This is kind of scary if only because of how simple it is.

I'll bet this works all too often.

You arrive at your hotel and check in at the front desk. When

Checking in, you give the front desk your credit card (for all the

Charges for your room). You get to your room and settle in.

Someone calls the front desk and asked for (example) Room 620

(which happens to be your room). Your phone rings in your room.

You answer and the person on the other end says the following,

'This is the front desk. When checking in, we came cross a problem

with your charge card information. Please re-read me your credit

card number and verify the last 3 digits numbers at the reverse side

of your charge card.'

Not thinking anything you might give this person your information,

since the call seems to come from the front desk. But actually, it

is a scam of someone calling from outside the hotel/front desk.

They ask for a random room number. Then, ask you for credit card

information and address information. Sounds so professional that

you do think you are talking to the front desk.

If you ever encounter this problem on your vacation, tell the caller

that you will be down at the front desk to clear up any problems.

Then, go to the front desk and ask if there was a problem. If there

was none, inform the manager of the hotel that someone called to scam

you of your credit card information acting like a front desk employee.

This was sent by someone who has been duped, and is still

clearing up the mess.

Please everyone, help spread the word by forwarding this e-mail

to everyone you know. Who knows, you might just help someone avoid

A nasty experience.

Anyone travelling should be aware of this one! Don't tell them anything,

just say, I'll be right down to the desk to clear it up.

A friend of mine, who was a Vietnam vet, came into the house, just
as I was screaming, and asked me if I had some plain old flour...I
pulled out a bag and he stuck my hand in it. He said to keep my hand
in the flour for 10 mins. which I did. He said that in Vietnam , this guy
was on fire and in their panic, they threw a bag of flour all over him to
put the fire out...well, it not only put the fire out, but he never even had
a blister!!!!

Now, I keep a bag of flour in the fridge and every time I burn myself,
I use the flour and never ONCE have I ever had a red spot, a burn or a blister!
*cold flour feels even better than room temperature flour.

Miracle, if you ask me. Keep a bag of white flour in your fridge and you will be happy you did. I even burnt my tongue and put the flour on it for about 10 mins, and the pain was gone and no burn. Try it!
Don't run your burn area under Cold water first, just put it right into the flour for 10 mins and experience a miracle!

Calabash – how does it using in Feng Shui.

Nowadays Calabash is widely using in the Feng Shui field, especially in flying stars Feng Shui system. It used to solve the star “2” which is the sick star.

Since Feng Shui appears, it modifies by different masters. We need to accept that it has a lot of superstition stuffs involve. We need to clear understand “why?” for the Feng Shui theory. Blind to believe in “Theory” or “Master” is real superstition.

Let’s see what kind of Trigram that Calabash belongs to, some master may think it is belong to “Dui”. If you look at “Dui” basic meaning, it is belong to metal, broken, mouth. Then only Calabash became dry and makes it as the water bottle, it has the mouth. It never can claim as “Dui”.

In Eight trigrams, only “Shun 巽”, “Chun震” is belong to wood, Calabash is a kind of plants, and it is a tall tree, and the shape of “Chun震” Trigram is like a container. Therefore “Chun震” is more suitable.

In the flying stars system linage, they were using the bell to solve the sick star. To use the “Calabash” to solve the sick star is first appear in around 1980. Master Chan Pui Sang 陳倍生 is a Chinese Doctor and he change his career as a Feng Shui master. During that moment he taught one of his students, Master Song Siu Kwong (宋韶光), got invited to talk about Feng Shui in the television in Hong Kong, then using “Calabash” to solve the sick star become more popular.

Under Master Song Siu Kwong (宋韶光) explanation, “Calabash” is use as a herbs bottle in the ancient time, therefore “Calabash” is a symbol of a doctor. That is why we call the job of a doctor is “懸壺濟世”. Doctor is deal with sick that is the reason why to use the “Calabash” to solve the sick star.

Under my research, most of the “懸壺濟世” doctor in the ancient time is Daoism Master; the Feng Shui is also one of the tools for them to serve the society. “Calabash” is also the symbol of Daoism. They use it to collect the evil spirit and then use the talisman to close its mouth. The Daoism believed that the sickness is coming from the evil spirit, if you can collect them into the “Calabash”, they don’t have the chance to make the people sick.

If believed “Calabash” can solve a sick star, then running a hospital become more easy, we just need to hang a “Calabash” in the patient’s bed, then we don’t need to spend so much money in the medicines cost.

To believe or not believe this “Calabash” theory, it is up to you. But at least, you will more understand how it is coming from.

富裕病毒~—這一代就已面臨的生命課題
● 其實富裕病毒包括：

◎ 沒能力煮飯：被外食餵食習慣了˙像家中豢養的動物沒有尋找新鮮乾淨食物的能力。

◎ 沒有工作價值：太有錢沒有工作的必要˙太聰明→社會付出的功能消失。
◎ 社會需求消失˙工作需求消失→飽食終日˙無所事事→這是現代社會的多數現象。
妳，還在當「孝子」「孝女」嗎？

這股「富裕病毒」正席捲全球，從美國、日本到臺灣……看完這篇覺得花點自己的辛苦錢享受人生或投資賠點錢也不一定是壞事，避免小孩得富裕病。
　　美國調查：繼承15萬美元以上財產的小孩，2成放棄工作，多數一事無成；他們得到越多，越不滿足，甚至失去奮鬥目標。這股「富裕病毒」正席捲全球，從美國、日本到臺灣……

　　「好好待妳的小孩，但不要給他們太多財產。」這是今年一月，美國《商業週刊》出版的25個最佳觀念專題(The best 25 ideas)，報導開始的第一句話。配合一張皺著眉頭、不開心的小孩照片，這句話格外引人好奇：為何要這麼慎重其事的談這事？

　　答案在文章中的一個單字：「富裕病」(affluenza)。先前令人聞之色變的禽流感(Avian Influenza)，讓大家看到富裕病的英文時，感覺好熟悉。沒錯，富裕病這個名詞是1990年代後期才發源於美國，由兩個單字「富裕」(affluence)和「流感」(influenza)合成，指那些由於父母供給太多，造成孩子過度沉溺物質，生活缺乏目標等後遺症。
童年富裕、長大負債
　　美國年輕破產族，每年增加16%。當美國嬰兒潮世代到達人生成就最高峰，即將擁著四百一十兆美元退休，甚至將財富傳承給下一代的階段，卻突然發現，他們的兒女或孫兒女，正受到富裕病毒的威脅。

　　根據美國消費者聯盟的一項調查，2003年有31%的大學生，有超過三千美元的信用卡債，比2000年增加了67%；二十五歲以下因為負債而破產的人數，過去十年也以每年16%的速度快速增長(二十五歲以上破產人口的增加速度只有5%)。不是因為年輕人沒錢，而是因為他們太愛亂花錢，所以如今美國許多大學將消費性負債，列入學生退學的評量因素之一。

臺灣也不遑多讓
　　根據金融監督管理委員會銀行局的最新統計，臺灣所有卡債中，五分之一是由二十至二十九歲的年輕人所「貢獻」。他們主要用於購買奢侈品所積欠的現金卡、信用卡卡債，共計一千四百七十八億元，相當於政府兩年的高等教育經費，或未來八年的全國治水經費。

　　而根據研究，美國的破產族當中，超過七成都來自於中產或者更高收入的家庭。他們的人生因為負債搞得一塌糊塗，並不是他們資源太少，反而是在他們成長過程中，資源的供給非常充裕，甚至是太充裕了。

美國興起反思浪潮，
五分之一富豪寧捐出財富不留給子女
　　今日的美國，百萬富翁在十年內成長了400%，對財富卻出現了反思的浪潮：2003年，哈佛大學募款人柯立爾估計，全美三百二十萬名百萬富翁中，約有六十萬人因擔心會寵壞子女而將捐出大筆財富。他說：「許多新富之家，希望子女只享有中產階級的生活形態，好讓他們擁有快樂婚姻，並且養育快樂子女。」

　　那麼這些新富會留多少錢給子女？柯立爾表示，資產超過三千萬美元的富豪，會留給子女每人約一百五十萬美元，這筆錢可用來買一幢房子，且受良好的教育。連續十二年蟬聯《富比世》全球富人排行榜第一名的微軟創辦人比爾．蓋茲，則早在一九九九年時宣布，他和妻子將他們兩個孩子的遺產繼承金額，限制在一億美元以內。蓋茲目前的身價有五百億美元，卻只留下五百分之一給孩子，剩餘的財富全部捐獻給慈善機構和社會福利事業。
富裕人口也快速增加的華人社會而言，如何恰當的給孩子金錢、資源？正是前所未有的挑戰。首先，中國傳統上避諱談錢；其次，我們的傳統都還是留遺產給孩子，而非將財富留給社會。奇美創辦人許文龍四月二十七日在交通大學演講時表示，他有二女一男，但三個子女現在還不知道，老爸到底會不會留財產給他們。他說：「我錢很多，留一些給子女到底要留多少？」這個問題對他而言，! 遠比經營事業還困難。

　　不只有錢的許文龍覺得很難，對大部分中國人的父母而言都不是簡單的事。從事跨文化，本土心理學研究的中研院院士楊國樞指出，包括臺灣、香港、中國大陸、日本、韓國等東亞儒家文化圈，是集體主義的社會，「至今我們民法的『父債子還』，還是延續這樣的『家族共產主義』精神。」

富留子孫種下惡果，
孩子變得只知享受，不知義務

　　今年四月十六日，臺南市爆出一家四口燒炭自殺的人倫悲劇，二十八歲的張智凱帶著妻子與五歲長女、五個月大幼女，輕易的結束四條寶貴的生命，自殺原因只因為高中音樂老師退休的媽媽不借給他三十萬元！

　　悲傷的母親，即便面對兒子指控「媽媽愛錢更甚我的生命」，深痛之餘，仍然替兒子說話，認為是媒體亂寫，「他其實很乖」。老鄰居看到的則是，失婚獨立扶養張智凱長大的陳玉霞，在張智凱從小到大的成長中，只要是張智凱開口要的東西，幾乎沒有說不的。

　　美國威斯康辛大學博士、東吳大學社會係副教授吳明燁觀察指出，在這個家「呈現的似乎是孩子只有權利，沒有義務。」這個永遠只負責享受的孩子，最後走上的是富裕病的最惡後果。

　　外國人稱臺灣為Boss Land，因為臺灣家族對子女高度的經濟支持，讓許多人不需要理性計算風險，就可以隨性創業。「因為得來容易，所以臺灣創業的年輕人投資報酬率常算不清楚。」南華大學社會科學院院長翟本瑞說，同樣的，在花錢時，年輕人也預期將來會從家裡繼承財產，而有恃無恐。

讓孩子走出「金鳥籠」，教導正確用錢觀念，為自己負責

　　中國人常說「富不過三代」，但這並非打不破的魔咒；深入了解一些能夠富過好幾代的家族，對如何與財富相處，都有非常嚴謹的教養。翟本瑞舉例，德國最老的投資銀行梅茲勒(Meztler)家族，富過三代的秘訣只有一個：不讓孩子關進「金鳥籠」；他們的小孩上地區最普通的學校，每天走路去搭公車上學，與所有同學一起玩耍、一起生活，吃同樣食物。

　　世界上最富有的家族——沃爾瑪集團的華頓家族，已逝的董事長山姆．華頓(Sam Walton)，奉行的財富教育核心理念是「勞動讓人有價值」。老華頓從來不給孩子們零用錢，他的四個孩子很小就開始「打工」，在商店裡擦地板，幫忙修補倉庫的房頂，晚上幫助裝卸簡單的貨物，老華頓則根據一般的工人標準付給他們「工資」。

　　這一代華人富裕家庭的青少年，是在「漏斗型」的資源灌注下成長──臺灣出生率是世界倒數第一，全臺平均值衹有1.2%，居民社經地位最高的臺北市，出生率更低至1.04%。因此，富裕病毒對華人的考驗，將比SARS(嚴重急性呼吸道症候群)更為嚴峻。妳的孩子，做好防疫措施了嗎？妳的財富教育啟動了嗎？

【明報專訊】海南警方日前解救了數名來自河南周口的行乞兒童，他們均是以演雜技為名行乞的。據這些兒童透露，如果他們未能完成行乞任務，就會遭受包括拳打腳踢、剪舌、鋼釘扎手指和被迫吃大便等懲罰，有兒童甚至被打至牙齒脫落。

《新聞晨報》報道，海南三亞警方日前根據「隨手拍照解救乞討兒童」上的信息，找到7名來自河南的行乞兒童，他們都是在寒假及春節將至的時候，被父親及組織者帶到三亞的。而在他們家鄉周口市太康縣幾條村中，兒童離家行乞相當普遍，很多都曾遭遇不同程度的虐待。

離家「耍雜技」被迫日乞300元

任莊村的女童任芳芳今年8歲，4年前被兩個鄰村的「雜技團」老闆帶出去「耍雜技」，父親任尚田因自家生活困難，而收了老闆的5000元（人民幣•下同）。未想到女兒回來時，頭髮少了兩大塊，遍體鱗傷，耳朵、鼻子和舌頭都殘缺不全，腰椎上腫起一大塊。據任芳芳說，自己被迫上街乞討，若不能完成任務就遭到「爸爸」（雜技團老闆）毒打，「用皮帶打我。用釘子扎我的手，扎得流血；挾起我往地上摔；用剪刀剪我的耳朵、鼻子和舌頭；還讓我吃大便……」醫院檢查顯示，芳芳身體已經留下後遺症。

釘拮手打掉牙塞冰箱險凍死

在旁邊宋莊村，8歲的宋豪也曾被孟堂村的「雜技團」老闆帶走3年，去年8月才回鄉。其間，他被打掉4隻牙，手指也被打斷。如今，宋豪留下嚴重的心理陰影，看見陌生人就躲。母親馮亞麗說，宋豪在海南三亞乞討期間每天都要完成任務，不能完成就要受罰，「說一天討到300元就不打，完不成就被打」。有一次，宋豪未完成任務，被老闆塞進冰箱，差點被活活凍死。

任芳芳和宋豪的家長均表示，當初之所以同意讓孩子外出演雜技，都是因為家裏窮。任芳芳父親任尚田事後向雜技團索賠，拿到了2.2萬元。宋豪母親馮亞麗則說，現在無論如何都不會再讓兒子出去行乞了。

宋莊村民說，周邊幾個村莊，不少孩子都有過類似的遭遇，「這些孩子要麼家裏比較窮，要麼父母有病」。村民還反映，孟堂村的「雜技團」老闆做這樣的生意已經長達十幾年了，賺了不少錢。

【明報專訊】河南周口太康縣存在一條租用兒童乞討的灰色產業鏈，老闆通常以雜技團為名帶兒童出外行乞，他們會給孩子編假名避過警察調查，生意好時，一個孩子一天能乞討1000元，有人因做這行而發大財。

父子相稱避警調查

孟堂村帶兒童出租耍雜技的老闆有11人，但仍不算是老闆最多的村。這些老闆說帶孩子練雜技，還和家長簽合約，規定了工資。但原村幹部翟祥明透露，實際上就是在租孩子，組織出外乞討，當地警員也證實這一說法。曾跟隨老闆翟雪峰乞討的翟滿響說，租到孩子後，老闆會帶著孩子開車到全國各地乞討，在外面，小孩子要叫大孩子「哥哥」，叫老闆為「爸爸」。童丐會被冠上老闆兒子之名，以符合警方核對的戶籍資料。

東北乞糧轉賣日賺1000元

翟滿響稱，在外乞討時，每日天一亮就要起來幹活，晚上10時多才收工，生意不好時，每個小孩能要到300、400元，好時能有1000元，但全部交給老闆。集團也曾帶孩子到東北乞討糧食，再把糧食轉賣，一天獲利1000元左右。

A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business.

Instead of choosing one of his Directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together.

He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO. I have decided to choose one of you." The young executives were Shocked, but the boss continued. "I am going to give each one of you a SEED today - one very special SEED. I want you to plant the seed, water it, and come back here one year from today with what you have grown from the seed I have given you.
I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one
I choose will be the next CEO."

One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed.He went home and excitedly, told his wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed. Everyday, he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew.

Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still
nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn't have a plant and he felt like a failure.

Six months went by -- still nothing in Jim's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn't say anything to his colleagues, however, he just kept watering and fertilizing the soil - He so wanted the seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for inspection.

Jim told his wife that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But she asked him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick to his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right. He took his empty pot to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at
the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful -- in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed, a few felt sorry for him!

When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives.

Jim just tried to hide in the back. "My, what great plants, trees and flowers you have grown," said the CEO. "Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!"

All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the Financial Director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified. He thought, "The CEO knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!"

When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed - Jim told him the story.

The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, "Behold your next Chief Executive Officer!

His name is Jim!" Jim couldn't believe it. Jim couldn't even grow his seed.

"How could he be the new CEO?" the others said.

Then the CEO said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead - it was not possible for them to grow.

All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new
Chief Executive Officer!"

* If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

【明報專訊】香港十大風水名穴之一的「荷葉跋龜」慘被破壞！大浪西灣事件揭示了郊野公園邊陲土地保育問題，本報發現，有未被納入政府早前公布的「郊野公園不包括的土地」名單地點，位於錦田園山鄧氏祖墳一帶土地，懷疑遭非法倒泥，反映政府的保育名單有漏網之魚。多個部門已跟進事件，當中規劃署正蒐集資料，對違例發展採取執法及檢控行動。

錦田鄉事委員會主席鄧賀年對祖墳遭倒泥感氣憤，經調查後證實該地屬鄧姓人士擁有，鄧賀年昨表示，已即時叫停倒泥活動，「那裏是鄧氏祖墳所在，每逢春秋二祭，後人都會前往拜祭，我們是不會容許有人在祖墳範圍填泥」。

政府部門跟進規劃署蒐資料

涉事地點為錦田一幅約1公頃的濕地，位於林村郊野公園邊陲，長春社早前作考古研究時無意發現，有泥頭車進出鄧氏祖墳一帶土地，結果發現，倒泥地點位於其中一組祖墳對出的濕地，後來查閱文獻，顯示該處是香港十大風水名穴之一的「荷葉跋龜」（見另稿）。

本報記者上周四（1月27日）到上址視察，該處遍佈祖墳，是鄧氏十五世祖鄧洪儀下葬的地點，但現場沙塵滾滾，不時有泥頭車出入，路邊豎立了林村郊野公園入口的木牌和地圖，顯示處於郊野公園邊陲。記者發現，泥頭車駛到山丘一隅，卸下泥頭，倒泥地點為面積約1公頃的濕地，泥頭面積覆蓋了逾半濕地，泥頭更堆至約2米高，超過成年人高度。倒泥地點，與鄧氏其中一組歷史最悠久的祖墳距離不足20米。

環團質疑名單有漏網之魚

長春社公共事務經理李少文表示，根據《香港名穴掌故鈎沉》，卸泥地點是濕地，未倒泥前有野鴨出沒，具保育價值，毗鄰是鄧氏古墳，具歷史價值，質疑政府為何未有將該處一帶列入「郊野公園不包括的土地」名單之內，以加強保育（見另稿）。所謂「郊野公園不包括的土地」是指在郊野公園內或邊陲，不受法定規劃管制，或未有被納入郊野公園的地點。

城規會資料顯示，倒泥地點於2004年曾有一宗申請，將該幅約5000平方米的私人農地作填泥及露天存貨之用，為期3年，但最後遭否決。

填土違例規劃署曾令還原

規劃署證實，該處倒泥的行為實屬違例，該署去年12月發出通知書，要求地主恢復原狀，近日再收到投訴指該地段一帶再有填土活動，該署職員發現涉及填土範圍擴大，現正蒐集足夠資料，對該違例發展採取執管及檢控行動。環保署亦收到倒泥投訴，正跟進及調查事件，如發現有違規之處，會採取執法行動。

【明報專訊】「荷葉跋龜」是香港十大名穴之一，位於錦田北圍村以北名為「東坑嶺」的兩座小山丘。明初鄧氏十五世祖鄧洪儀下葬此地，由於地形像一塊荷葉蓋在烏龜背上，因此得名；亦有說指該地地形是一隻烏龜伏在一片荷葉上，鄧洪儀的墓穴就位於烏龜的眼睛。

「荷葉跋龜」港十大名穴之一

相傳這座名穴專出文人，據族譜記載，鄧洪儀下葬後，他的孫子鄧廷楨於明憲宗成化年間科舉中式，從此凡是錦田子孫北上赴考，都會到墳前上香，祈求祝福。

至於倒泥的地點，毗鄰是鄧氏另一祖墳，當中有一座全港獨一無二的墓穴，該墓有400多年歷史，但鄧氏後人一直未有為該墓的先人立碑，墳上無名無姓，堪輿學家將之命名為「鐵鑪墳」。

「鐵鑪墳」位於「荷葉跋龜」山後，屬風水局，該墓穴的鑪口從前對著大片水稻田，水為財，即所謂「食正條水」，主富貴；水稻田後來荒廢，但仍有水，對風水沒有影響。長春社公共事務經理李少文表示，參考多份文獻及地圖，確定倒泥地點就是昔日水稻田。

香蕉皮的妙用（簡直神了）

一中年男子，農民，五年前腦後長一小瘤，慢慢增大，今年已有雞蛋大，初春去省城某醫院檢查，讓患者手術治療，所需費用五千多元，患著承受不起，回來後托朋友找餘，餘即告知用香蕉皮試察患處，結果二天後自動開口，流出許多膿，連藥都沒服，沒幾日傷口自動痊癒。
前半月，餘以前的同事打電話來，述她女兒屁股上生起一胞塊，不想手術，請餘授一簡便方法，餘即同樣告知用香蕉察，一星期後來電話告知，用此方法已經消退痊癒。民間療法簡便實用，費用低廉，我們不需要了解它含有什麼成分，只知道它的實用價值就可以。
香蕉皮中含有蕉皮素，可醫治由真菌和細菌感染所引起的皮膚瘙癢癥。蕉皮還有止煩渴，潤肺腸，通血脈，增精髓等功效。將香蕉皮搗爛加上薑汁能消炎止痛;用香蕉皮搓手足，可防治皸裂，凍瘡。每到秋,冬二季,許多人會患手足幹,皸! 裂! ,用香蕉皮擦數日後,立桿見影,可使皮膚潤滑,不再發幹,也可用來擦臉美容. 治療腳氣效果很好。父右手食指第一關節處,有一條開裂,他擦了兩次,開裂就癒合,他的開裂有半毫米寬. 我媽媽的手指很容易起小水泡，告訴她之後，她試過，覺得效果很好，以前都是把小水泡用針挑開後，放到酒裡去泡，要幾天才好。用香蕉皮擦，第二天傷口就收口了。而且她說香蕉皮不要馬上擦放到第二天再擦效果更好。用香蕉皮的內側是和香蕉果肉接觸的那一面。
治扁平疣,外用. 幾個月前我先生左頰長了一個扁平疣，一直擴大。我上網搜索，在英文網站找到一個偏方：括取香蕉內皮，貼在患處，每天換 2 次。過了三天，疣果然乾癟脫落，其效如神。我想熱帶水果的內皮大概含有強力的抗黴物質吧。
用指甲刮取適量香蕉內皮（白色的內皮層），放在一般外用的橡皮貼布上，貼在患處，貼密（不然易幹）。每天換兩次。
香蕉皮治高血壓：香蕉皮 30克，曬乾水煎服，日三次，一個月見效。本人患牛皮癬病30多年,看過中醫，西醫,住過院,也用過偏方,都效果不好。今夏偶爾隆人說, 有人用香蕉皮擦患部治好了此病,便試著每天擦幾次,擦了幾天便不覺得癢了。連續擦了近兩個月,! 皮! 膚逐漸光滑不起皮也不癢,停藥兩個月後未見變化。要說明的是本人只是局部小面積患病(小腿和頭部)。
腳癬癢,試了一次,立刻不癢,今後再試. 我右腳背上有癬,有兩個熱水瓶蓋的面積,四年了,經香蕉皮的搽18次,好了80％。將繼續搽到好為止. 腿上有一處約3倍 5厘米的皮膚幹，癢，硬，顏色變黑，用香蕉皮塗了幾次情況大為好轉：變軟，止癢，顏色變淺;現在沒有再塗，有反復的跡象，顏色又變深了。肩! 膀! 下面有兩處皮膚幹，起硬“雞皮“，用香蕉皮塗了幾次後軟化，尚未徹底好。
我有用過香蕉皮敷眼，以前紅眼，說要打什麼針....怕痛。隆說香蕉皮敷眼可治，用之，一個下午就好了。

老中醫的順口溜，太適用了：

生梨潤肺化痰好，蘋果止瀉營養高。
黃瓜減肥有成效，抑制癌癥獼猴桃。
番茄補血助容顏，蓮藕除煩解酒妙。
橘子理氣好化痰，韭菜補腎暖膝腰。
蘿蔔消食除脹氣，芹菜能治血壓高。
白菜利尿排毒素，菜花常吃癌癥少。
冬瓜消腫又利尿，綠豆解毒療效高。
木耳抗癌散血淤，山藥益腎浮腫消。
海帶含碘散淤結，蘑菇抑制癌細胞。
胡椒驅寒兼除濕，蔥辣薑湯治感冒。
魚蝦豬蹄補乳汁，豬肝羊肝明目好。
益腎強腰吃核桃，健腎補脾吃紅棗。

HIGH SCHOOL -- 1957 vs 2010

Scenario 1:
Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack.
1957 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.
2010 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again.
Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

Scenario 2:
Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.
1957 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.
2010 - Police called and SWAT team arrives -- they arrest both Johnny and Mark. They are both charged with assault and both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario 3:
Jeffrey will still not be in class, he disrupts other students.
1957 - Jeffrey sent to the Principal's office and given a good paddling by the Principal. He then returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.

2010 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. The state psychologist is told by Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has an affair with the psychologist.

Scenario 5:
Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school..
1957 - Mark shares his aspirin with a school buddy that has a headache also.
2010 - The police are called and Mark is expelled from school for drug violations. His car is then searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario 6:
Pedro fails high school English.
1957 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English and goes to college.
2010 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against the state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English is then banned from core curriculum. Pedro is given his diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.

Scenario 7:
Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from the Fourth of July, puts them in a model airplane paint-bottle and blows up a red ant bed.
1957 - Ants die.
2010 - ATF, Homeland Security and the FBI are all called. Johnny is charged with domestic terrorism. The FBI investigates his parents -- and all siblings are removed from their home and all computers are confiscated. Johnny's dad is placed on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario 8:
Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.
1957 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.
2010 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

我當時沒吭聲，照簽了，心想【君子報仇，十年不晚。】

後來那導播又找我，我還【照樣】幫他做了幾次。

最後一次，他沒扣我錢，變得對我很客氣，

因為那時我被電視公司的新聞部看上，

一下子成為了電視記者兼新聞主播。

我們後來常在公司遇到，他每次笑得都有點尷尬。

我曾經想去告他一狀，可是正如高中那位同學所說，

沒有他我能有今天嗎？

如果我當初不忍下一口氣，又能繼續獲得主持的機會嗎？

機會是他給的，他是我的貴人，他已經知錯，我何必去報復呢？

後來我到了美國留學。

有一天，一位已經就業的同學對我抱怨他的美國老闆【吃】他，

不但給他很少的薪水，而且故意拖延他的綠卡（美國居留權）申請。

我當時對他說：『這麼壞的老闆，不做也罷。但你豈能白幹了這麼久，

總要多學一點，再跳槽，所以你要偷偷學。』

他聽了我的話，不但每天加班，留下來背那些商業文書的寫法。

甚至連怎麼修理影印機，都跟在工人旁邊記筆記，

以便有一天自己出去創業，能夠省點修理費。

隔了半年，我問他是不是打算跳槽了？

他居然一笑：『不用！我的老闆現在對我刮目相看，又升官，又加薪，

而且綠卡也馬上下來了，老闆還問我為什麼態度一百八十度轉變，

變得那麼積極呢？』

他作了『報復』，只是換了一種方法，

而且他自我檢討，當年其實是他自己不努力。

大概前五年吧！

我遇到個有意思的事。

一位老友突然猛學算命，由生辰八字、紫薇斗數、姓名學到占星術，

沒一樣不研究。

他學算命，當然不是覺得算命靈驗，而是想證明算命是騙人的東西。

原因是有一位非常著名的大師為他算命，算他活不到四十七，

他發誓，非打爛那大師的招牌不可。

你猜怎樣？

他愈學愈怕，因為他發現自己算自己，也確實活不長。

這時候，他改了，他跑去做慈善，說：

『反正活不久了，好好運用剩下的歲月，做點有意義的事。』

他很積極地投入，人人都說他變了，

由一個焦躁勢利的小人，變成敦厚慈愛的君子。

不知不覺，他過了四十七、過了四十八，而今已經五十三，

紅光滿面、生氣勃勃，比誰都活利健康。

「你可以去砸那大師的招牌了！」我有一天開他玩笑。

他眼一亮，回問我：『為什麼？』

又笑笑：『要不是那人警告我，照我以前的個性，

確實四十七歲非犯心臟病不可，他沒有不準啊！』

各位年輕朋友！

你喜歡逞強鬥狠嗎？

你總是心有不平嗎？

你有【此仇不報非君子】的憤恨嗎？

A True Story....

A woman baked chapati for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapati on the Window-sill, for whosoever would take it away. Everyday, a hunchback came and took away the chapati. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: "The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" This went on, day after day. Everyday, the hunch-back came, picked up the chapati and uttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The woman felt irritated. "Not a word of gratitude," she said to herself...

"Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean? "One day, exasperated, she decided to do away with him. "I shall get rid of this hunchback," she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the Chapatti she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. "What is this I am doing?" she said Immediately, she threw the chapati into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window- sill. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapati and muttered the words: "The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!" The hunchback proceeded on his way, blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman.

Everyday, as the woman placed the chapati on the window-sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return. That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway.. He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, "Mom, it's a miracle I'm here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me a whole chapati."As he gave it to me, he said, "This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!" " As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale.

She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned chapati that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life! It was then that she realized the significance of the words:"The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!"Do good and;Don't ever stop doing good, even if it’s not appreciated at that time.

您們好!

是次寄來這一封電郵，是希望你們能關注以下的事情，並予以支持。

約在今年年初，我與其他義工協助大嶼山鹿湖區一眾出家人，抵抗商業集團在該區經營骨灰龕生意。那商業集團，無所不用其極地擴展其版圖，威迫利誘收購該區寺院，以作經營骨灰龕生意，她們外表裝成寺院，實質是經營骨灰龕。這種做法不單破壞正信佛教，她更直接影響到附近仍在修行的出家人，若情況不能制止，這些出家人也要被迫離開。鹿湖這遍地方，是有百多年歷史的佛教靜修聖地。

我們曾四出奔走各政府部門投訴她們不合法的經營，可是各政府部們總是拖拖拉拉，直至本月初，地政署曾發信通知該商業集團要求她們停止銷售骨灰龕，可是她們對此不特不加理會，還變本加厲減價促銷骨灰位，務求做成「已成事實」使政府讓其合法化。

事情至此，我們只有喚起公眾的關注，希望藉着大家的力量，促使政府立即執法制止其非法的行為，詳情可參閱下列的網址：

A woman wrote the best 'Letter to the Editor' in ages!! She cuts to the quick and explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV. Her letter said:

Recently, large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that parliament is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that Canada might actually want to protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, make it harder (as an illegal immigrant) to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Then, when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, 'I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and done the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work) because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking-in part.

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my illegal right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest, um, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me! English is too hard for me to learn. You should also allow me to vote - in my own language, since I live in your house!

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is? Only in Canada, eh?

六祖大師最後偈

兀兀不修善

騰騰不造惡

寂寂斷見聞

蕩蕩心無著

問題：依照以上六祖之臨別贈言, 請問六祖是否鼓勵大家「不要修善」呢？

今答：

這首偈是六祖惠能大師在謝世前給世人最後一首偈。縱觀六祖一生都是提倡修行人要明心見性，見性成佛。如六祖所說：唯傳見性法，出世破邪宗。整本壇經都是圍繞自性而說。「何期自性，本自清淨；何期自性，本不生滅；何期自性，本自具足；何期自性，本無動搖；何期自性，能生萬法。」顯彰自性的體與用。

六祖直至臨終時，仍然向學人顯示見性的境界，亦表示自己回歸自性，不用往生淨土。自性本自清淨嘛，若要更淨，便成污染，弄巧反拙。

自性本無動搖，哪裡有來有往，是故兀兀不動，如果說有修，就有動，則不能說是兀兀。近代念佛最得力的廣欽老和尚臨終也說：無去無來，無代誌。有位淨宗祖師臨終也說：生，實必生，去，實不去。都是見性的話。

善是對待法，是相對於惡而說，自性不是對待法，不能偏於一邊修善，或偏過另外一邊作惡。所以下一句就說，騰騰不造惡，騰騰是自在無有作為的樣子。若著於修善作惡，則墮於生死，迷失自性。達摩祖師亦云：亦不睹惡而生嫌，亦不觀善而勤措。

不睹不觀即斷見聞，自性中無能無所，能所雙亡，則無能見所見，無能聞所聞。所以寂寂斷見聞。如心經云：是故空中無色，無受想行識，無眼耳鼻舌身意，無色聲香味諸法。所謂「不見一法即如來，方得名為觀自在」，這樣，也會有人說，如此就像塊木頭。

所以六祖跟著說，蕩蕩心無著。心平坦坦蕩盪，應無所住，光明寂照。如日在虛空。以太陽的角度來說，對於世間，沒有所謂照與不照，而世間卻因日而有光明。

是故六祖不鼓勵修善，而著重見性。見性比修善更善。見性可以斷世人之生死苦，世間的修善只能舒緩一下痛苦，不能斷生死根，反而使人耽著生死。

如果一定要修善，還不如孔子所說：知過能改，善莫大焉。即是說，沒有哪一種善能超過‘知過能改’。

有人說，佛教也說：眾善奉行。

是的，「諸惡莫作，眾善奉行，自淨其意，是諸佛教」。但不要忘掉前一句，諸惡莫作。這是層次的說法，世人可以作善，勸其止惡甚難，很難做到諸惡莫作，能做到諸惡莫作，永不作惡，起碼是阿羅漢。再從這基礎上，眾善奉行，行菩薩道也不會作惡。

然而，諸佛世尊以一大事因緣出現於世，無非為眾生開示悟入佛之知見。是故要求行者，自淨其意。如經云：「若人欲知佛境界，當淨其意如虛空」是也。諸佛世尊所說法，「無二亦無三」，都是導人自見本性。其意已淨，如何作惡。

佛教不鼓勵修善，也不反對修善，只是借止惡修善來引導眾生回歸覺性。十惡不赦，也可以度之而歸，頗見修善者，聽聞佛法，只是口上唯唯諾諾。

世人常說，我們作善事，布施要三輪體空。但若未見性，未斷生死，此句便成空口白話。

若是見性，則從自性中而出，如金剛經所說：以無我無人無眾生無壽者修一切善法，即得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。這才能三輪體空。不過，世尊跟著再補上：「所云善法者，即非善法」。免得菩薩又來執著善相，墮入生死。

今見現代佛教多提倡做善事，直接‘行菩薩道’，培養人天根乘，使人覺得佛教與其他宗教一樣，都是做善事的。大概這是佛教末期的一種迴光返照，或垂死掙扎現象吧。

希望佛教徒在做善事之餘，多想一下‘諸惡莫作’，守持五戒，也不愧為四眾之一的佛弟子。若有人真能‘自淨其意’，則應五體投地頂禮，請轉法輪，莫謗之為自了漢，徒增惡業。

①癌症不能在弱鹼性的人體中形成；
②癌症只能在酸性身體中形成；
③如果你有癌症，說明身體是酸性的；
④癌症只能在一個酸性的身體擴展；
⑤如果你的身體變弱鹼性，癌症不能擴展；

⑥如果你能平衡你的身體PH值，讓你的身體轉變

成弱鹼性，不管你得的是什麼癌症都有轉變和被

治好；

⑦不管你的情況多麼糟糕，哪怕只能活6個月，如

果你能轉變你的身體PH值到弱鹼性，你的癌症

就不會擴展，就會好；

⑧不用擔心你的家族中你的媽媽、爸爸或任何人有

癌症，只要你的身體是弱鹼性的，你不會得，如

果你已經有了，它將會轉變；
⑨癌症都是酸性體液中生存的，沒別的。如果你的

身體是酸的，你就會得癌症。如果是弱鹼的，你

就不會得癌症。如果你已有了癌症，只要你能調

整你身體的PH值到弱鹼性，癌症就會離你而去。

預防癌症的秘訣十分簡單，就是常吃鹼性食物以防止酸性廢物的累積，因為酸化的體液環境，是正常細胞癌變的肥沃土壤，調整體液酸堿平衡，是預防癌症的有效途徑。
A)養成良好的生活習慣，戒煙限酒。吸煙，世界衛生組織預言，如果人們都不再吸煙，5年之後，世界上的癌症將減少1/3；其次，不酗酒。煙和酒是極酸的酸性物質，長期吸煙喝酒的人，極易導致酸性體質。
B)不要過多地吃鹹而辣的食物，不吃過熱、過冷、過期及變質的食物；年老體弱或有某種疾病遺傳基因者酌情吃一些防癌食品和含堿量高的鹼性食品，保持良好的精神狀態。
C)有良好的心態應對壓力，勞逸結合，不要過度疲勞。可見壓力是重要的癌症誘因，中醫認為壓力導致過勞體虛從而引起免疫功能下降、內分泌失調，體內代謝紊亂，導致體內酸性物質的沉積；壓力也可導致精神緊張引起氣滯血淤、毒火內陷等。
D)加強體育鍛煉，增強體質，多在陽光下運動，多出汗可將體內酸性物質隨汗液排出體外，避免形成酸性體質。
E)生活要規律，生活習慣不規律的人，如徹夜唱卡拉OK、打麻將、夜不歸宿等生活無規律，都會加重體質酸化，容易患癌症。應當養成良好的生活習慣，從而保持弱鹼性體質，使各種癌症疾病遠離自己。

◆哪些人的身體容易「發酸」:
⊙熬夜一族...晚上1：00以後不睡覺，人體的代謝作用會轉由內分泌燃燒，用內分泌燃燒產生的毒素會很多，會使體質變酸，通常熬夜的人得慢性疾病的機率會比抽煙或喝酒的人都來得高。所以每天儘量在晚上12：00以前睡覺，不要常熬夜，若非要熬夜，一星期以一次為限！熬夜時不要吃肉，儘量吃碳水化合物，這樣隔天才不會很累，可把傷害減至最低。
⊙宵夜一族...凡是晚上8：00以後再進食就可稱作宵夜。吃宵夜隔天易疲倦、爬不起床，肝也會受損，因為睡覺時，人體各器官活動力降低，處於休息狀態，這時讓食物留在腸子裏會變酸、發酵，易產生毒素、傷害身體。
⊙早餐的「逃兵」...一天三餐中，早餐最重要，但許多人不吃早餐，一早空著肚子，體內沒有動力，會自動使用甲狀腺、副甲狀腺、下腦垂體等腺體，如此易造成腺體亢進、體質變酸，長期下來易導致各種慢性病。
⊙「精食」一族...少運動且整天坐在辦公室的上班族最容易犯這種錯誤，因為吃得少，又刻意選擇很精緻的食物、少吃粗糧，這類人的腸子老化得特別快，肝功能也會變差，排便是黑色的而且常會便秘。因為精緻食物缺乏纖維素，會導致腸子功能變差，甚至萎縮，你所吃的食物變成了毒素，使你體質變酸，慢性病也開始了。

癌症讓許多人覺得恐怖，但並非完全不能從它的魔爪下逃離。美國“網路醫學博士”網站近日刊出美國癌症協會專家總結出的“男人和女人最容易忽視的癌症症狀”，提醒大家要抓住癌症的蛛絲馬跡。因為有調查顯示，與較晚期病人治療後的5年生存率只有10%—30%相比，早期癌症病人正規治療後的5年生存率能高達70%—95%。

這些前兆中，男人和女人各自應注意的分別為兩個，都應該注意的共有13個：

男人應該注意的：
1.睾丸變化。睾丸癌多發年齡段為20至39歲。美國癌症協會建議，男性每月應自我檢查睾丸情況，包括睾丸大小變化、出現明顯的腫大或縮小、陰囊內出現包塊、陰囊墜痛感等，有問題應及時就醫。特別是感到陰囊墜脹，感覺裏面像是放了一個煤球，並持續一周以上，要馬上找醫生診斷。這是睾丸癌最典型的前兆，需要進行血液檢測和陰囊超聲檢測。
2.小便問題。隨著年齡增加，男性小便問題日漸普遍，尿頻、尿急或尿不淨較常見。如果症狀加重，特別是小便有強烈的緊迫感，應警惕前列腺癌。通常應做直腸指檢，醫生會告訴你是否前列腺肥大，它是前列腺癌的主要症狀。

女人應該注意的：
1.腹脹。很多女性認為腹脹極為常見，不必大驚小怪。但是，這可能是卵巢癌的症狀。天津市腫瘤醫院腫瘤預防醫學中心主任劉俊田介紹，腹部持續腫脹、有壓迫感及疼痛、腸胃不適，出現進食困難或極易有飽腹感，持續數周，都可能是卵巢癌的徵兆。
2.不規律出血。美國腫瘤學家戴利博士表示，月經週期之間的陰道異常出血及大小便出血很容易被女性忽視。它們很可能是婦科常見癌症：子宮內膜癌的一大徵兆，有至少3/4的女性有此徵兆後，被檢查出患上子宮內膜癌。而大便出血則可能是結腸癌的徵兆。

男女都應該注意的：
1．乳房硬塊。乳腺癌不是女人的專利，男女都應該積極預防。女性如果發現乳房皮膚發紅、有腫塊，就要分外當心。“尤其是乳房出現皮疹，並且持續數周不退，必須去檢查。”腫瘤學家漢娜‧林登博士說。此外，她指出，非哺乳期的女性，乳頭凹陷，並且常常流出液體，也是不好的信號。對於男性來說，如果乳房皮膚起皺、乳頭收縮或不對稱、乳頭大小和形狀改變、乳房紅腫、出現硬塊等，都是乳頭發炎的表現，也是乳癌的症狀。劉俊田進一步解釋，這種乳房腫塊一般不疼，但會逐漸變大。
2．疼痛。美國癌症協會表示，隨著年齡增加，身體疼痛會增多。但是身體某部位莫名出現疼痛並持續一周以上時，應儘快查明原因，因為無緣無故的疼痛可能是癌症徵兆。比如，長期腹痛是大腸癌的症狀，胸部疼痛可能是肺癌引起的，骨頭酸痛則可能是癌症轉移的症狀。劉俊田指出，胰腺癌會表現在上腹區，如臍周或右上腹出現頑固性鈍痛或絞痛，可陣發，也可呈持續性，通常會逐漸加重，向腰背部放射。
3．淋巴結變化。林登博士表示，不管身體哪個部位，尤其是腋窩或頸脖出現淋巴結腫大，切不可掉以輕心。如果淋巴結持續增大，超過1個月，則很可能是乳癌或腦癌的症狀。
4．發燒。發燒一般由流感、肺炎或其他炎症所導致，然而，不明原因的發燒就可能是危險徵兆了。美國癌症協會表示，癌症擴散至身體其他器官時，通常會導致發燒。淋巴瘤、白血病等血癌也有發燒症狀。中國醫學科學院腫瘤醫院防癌科主任徐志堅補充，淋巴瘤在早中期會表現為持續低熱，體溫在38攝氏度左右，當合併感染時則可能高燒。必要檢查包括：X光胸透、CT掃描、核磁共振檢查等。
5．體重莫名降低。不用費勁就能減肥的確令人高興，但是如果一個月內既沒增加運動量，又沒減少飲食，體重卻莫名其妙下降10%，那就應該及時就醫。體重急劇下降、厭食、反復腹瀉和便秘是最常見的肺癌、胃癌、腎癌及大腸癌症狀，對女性而言也可能是甲亢。
6．持續腹痛且伴抑鬱。美國癌症協會官員萊昂納多?李奇頓菲爾德博士表示，如果腹部持續疼痛且伴有抑鬱症狀，極可能得了胰腺癌。因為專家發現，抑鬱與胰腺癌關係極大。其他症狀還包括：黃疸或大便呈反常的灰色。
7．疲勞。一般來說，感覺疲勞，是癌症已有所發展的徵兆，但對於白血病、腸癌和胃癌來說，可能發病初期就會感到疲勞。癌症的疲勞和普通疲勞有什麼區別呢？美國癌症協會專家表示，普通疲勞休息一下就會消失，而癌症的疲勞不論怎麼休息，都會覺得很難改善。
8．咳嗽不止。美國喬治城大學醫學院拉尼特?米歇裏博士表示，如果莫名其妙的咳嗽持續不斷，超過3至4周，就應該及時看醫生，有可能是肺癌或喉癌的徵兆。
9．吞咽困難。李奇頓菲爾德博士表示，長期的吞咽困難，可能是喉癌、食道癌和胃癌的徵兆，應該儘早接受X光胸透或胃鏡檢查。所謂吞咽困難，劉俊田介紹，一般指進食時出現胸骨後疼痛、食管內有異物感，有人即使不進食，也會感到食管壁像有菜葉、碎片或米粒樣物貼附，吞咽下食物後會感到食物下行緩慢，甚至停留在食管內。
10．皮膚變化。美國費城福克斯蔡斯癌症研究中心腫瘤學家瑪麗?戴利博士提醒，皮膚突然出現包塊或者色素沉著，並且變化明顯，都可能是皮膚癌的徵兆。觀察幾周後就應該立即就醫。另外，無論年老年輕，一旦皮膚突然出血或者出現異常剝落，也應該去看醫生。
11．異常出血。米歇裏博士表示，便血除了痔瘡外，很可能是腸癌的症狀，必要時應該接受結腸鏡腸癌篩查。北京同仁醫院泌尿外科主任醫師陳山也提醒，40歲以上的中老年人，除女性經期之外，如出現無痛尿血或排尿困難，應警惕膀胱癌或腎癌。腸癌除了便血以外，如果腫瘤生長在靠近肛門處，還可能出現大便變細、次數增多等症狀，甚至引起大便困難。
12．口腔變化。美國癌症協會指出，吸煙者要特別注意口腔及舌頭上出現的白色斑塊，這可能是口腔癌的前兆———黏膜白斑病。
13．消化不良。男性（尤其是老年男性）以及女性（孕期除外）長時間不明原因持續消化不良，可能是食道癌、喉癌、胃癌的症狀。

與此相對的是，馬鈴薯生汁療法完全沒有任何副作用，而且可以恢復體力，提高自然治癒力，實在是一種高營養的食品。若長期持續此療法，就具有抑制癌細胞的神奇力量。馬鈴薯生汁療法沒有任何危險，任何人都可以立刻實行，而且在極短時間內就可以實際感受到效果。患部有痛感的人，只要喝過一至二周，痛感就會逐漸減輕，沒有痛感的，只要持續一些時間，食欲隨即增加，血色好轉，體力可以漸漸恢復。

真正起死回生的魔杖，介紹一下馬鈴薯生汁的製作方法：

第一次準備的馬鈴薯的分量，大個的二、三個，小的三、四個。

身體衰弱的人，一次無法喝一杯的人，可以分做幾次喝完。或者不喜歡光喝馬鈴薯生汁的人，可以摻入酵素果汁約30毫升或蜂蜜，蘋果榨汁攪拌混勻時喝起來更容易。

【注意：生汁擠出後要立刻喝完，而且每天堅持。連服兩周，治療見效。見效後繼續持續服用。】

但是富澤師嚴厲地告訴患者，不可以把馬鈴薯生汁當作藥物來看。他說：只喝馬鈴薯生汁但是依然不改變過去縱欲生活的人，可以說就是把馬鈴薯視同藥罐子，當自己已經生病了，但自己卻不節制不養生，只是吃藥就想輕易治好疾病。

我們生病都是事出有因。例如暴飲暴食、喜歡美食、漫無節制的熬夜，都是造成疾病的原因。只要把過去的生活做一百八十度的大轉變即可，此時的馬鈴薯生汁，才算是真正的起死回生之仙杖。馬鈴薯在歐洲被稱做“大地的蘋果”，顯然是營養價值相當高的食品。尤其含有非常豐富的維他命C和鈣，在德國則自古以來即有喝馬鈴薯擦碎汁治療胃潰瘍和便秘的方法。

連續三個多月，丹尼餐廳的營收根本無法與成本打平。

經濟不景氣前這間小餐館也曾有過門外大排長龍的日子。

今晚，丹尼算了算帳款，他決定餐廳就開到今天吧!他已無力再承擔虧損了。

【商台互動國際組】如果說人有第三隻眼似乎有點荒謬，最近科學家發現人類大腦中的松果體對光有反應，松果體可能成為人類第三隻眼。

松果體功能有待開發

松果體位於中腦前丘和丘腦之間，長5至8mm，寬3至5mm灰紅色橢圓形小體，又被稱為腦上腺。近年科學家發現許多低等脊椎動物松果體是內分泌器官，對光產生反應，松果體分泌的褪黑素（Melatonin）有助識別晝夜時間。

過去科學家認為松果體不能直接感光，需透過視網膜感光受體才能感光，1999年4月科學家陸卡斯（Lucas）等人在權威雜誌《科學》發表論文，他們利用失明小鼠做實驗，透過實驗他們認為松果體是不能對光產生反應，繼而提出「非經典感光受體」假說，由於「非經典感光受體」假說的支持理據不足，陸卡斯等人表示這一假說有待進一步探討。同時有科學家認為松果體與視網膜相似，可能是直接感光器官，松果體被稱為「折迭的視網膜」，科學家假設大腦存在光傳導通路，松果體就能直接感光，若松果體可感光又有什麼作用，目前仍沒有任何答案。

最近科學家在清理實驗室魚缸時，發現被稱墨西哥盲魚的墨西哥麗脂鯉（Astyanaxmexicanus）居然能對光產生反應，原來盲魚是利用牠們的松果體對光有反應。英國視覺色素專家吉姆‧波馬克表示研究證實部分動物松果體能產生光感應，而神秘學家也認為可透過靜心冥想、打坐等方式激發松果體退化性後，可捕捉連肉眼也看不見的光，不用透過視神經傳導也可直接看到，開啟松果體功能後，人類才是真正的大開眼界。德學科學家笛卡兒表示如果眼睛是人類的靈魂之窗，松果體就是靈魂所在之地，意大利一項研究表明切除松果體後會促進人體部分腫瘤生長，而正常松果體可能具有防癌作用。

My son sent me this link recently http://bodyodd.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2010/05/10/2299480.aspx?GT1=43001 and asked me the possibility of “starving yogi”. It is a very interest topic and I would like to share what I know with you all.

We also have similar cases in China, and they are related to religious field like Buddhism practice, Taoism practice, and Qi Kung practice.

Meditation, a main practice for Taoism practitioners and Buddhists, can be done for a few seconds to a few years; the longer a person meditates, the less food the person consumes. It is similar to animals entering the hibernation stage during the winter. During a deep and long meditation, the person will breathe slowly as if he/she doesn’t feel it at all.

Remember the Bodhidharma Story in my previous blog entry? When Bodhidharma arrived Siu Sut Mountain 少室山of the Siu Lam Temple 少林寺, he meditated in a cave for 9 years. During this time, he didn’t consume any food or liquid.

One reason for the religious people to practice “starvation” is that they want to keep their body to show Dharma exists. Before they get into nivana, they know the time is coming; hence, they start eating less until they only have water. At the last few days before they passaway, they will not drink. In this situation, they clean up their digest system so that no more disease can be created inside their body. Their muscles become very thin that there is only skins attached onto the bones. Once they pass away, their body become as dry meat. For some monks who are not totally clean, their body – except the anus – will be brushed with a special paint which we call “Chut 漆”. The painted body will then be placed into a ceramic container with a hole in the bottom, and buried under the ground for several years until the organs melt and dissolve into the ground. The 6th generation of Bodhidharma, Wei Lung 慧能, used this method to maintain his body.

In the Qi Kung field, we call this starvation practice “Pig Kuk 闢穀”. Only people who practiced Qi Kung for a long period of time would start proceeding this. As the person starts doing the starvation practice, the body will start changing. Since the food consumption drops, the body will get nutrients from the Qi. The initial process begin with starving for one day, then the person will increase the number of days of starvation until they can live without food. However, this method might not be suitable for everyone and it is highly advised that a practitioner should be guided by a master. People who practice this wrongfully will cause serious harms to their body. Hence it is a very danger exercise.

Why does the starving Qi Kung work? First of all, we need to analyze what are some components contain in the air,

To maintain a life, we need to have oxygen, water and food. From the table above, we can get water from the moisture in the air. Without oxygen, we will die within 5 minutes; without water, we will died within 10 days; and without food, we will die within 4 to 8 weeks.

Since the moisture in the air can solve our needs for water, it is possible for us to starve for 4 to 8 weeks.

Bodhidharma Story

During the Leung Dynasty (464-549 A.D.), Buddhism was the most popular religion in China as Emperor Wu highly believed in Buddhism. Many temples were being built around the country and a lot of the people became monk and practiced Buddhism.

At that moment, Bodhidharma – the Patriarch of Zen – came to the country from India. When Emperor Wu knew Bodhidharma was coming, he informed Tung Lam Temple, one of the biggest temples, to entertain him. The day that Bodhidharma came to the Temple, all the monks living in the Temple were gathered and waited for this special guest in the front door.

When Bodhidharma arrived, all the monks were shock as they look at Bodhidharma’s dirty clothes and realized he had no shoes. Bodhidharma’s poor appearance was not respected by the monks.

When The Master of the Temple invited Bodhidharma to give a lesson, Bodhidharma took a look at the Buddhist Bibles that the Master prepared and then closed all of them. He smiled, meditated for a little while and stepped down from the lecture stage. None of the monks understood what Bodhidharma did.

Since then, every monk in Tung Lam Temple looked down on Bodhidharma while no one would talk to him.

Days passed and examination period began for the senior monks. This examination consisted of meditating for 3 days and 3 nights while no one could say a word.

Four senior monks got into the meditation room to do this examination, and Bodhidharma followed them into the room and observed the examination. In the last night of the examination, the wind was blowing very strong outside which blew one of the windows open and blew off the candle lights.

Monk A shouted, “The candle lights are blew off.”

Monk B tried to stop A by saying, “Why are you shouting?”

Monk C tried to stop B and said, “No one is allowed to talk during meditation.”

Monk D was very happy and said, “Luckily, I did not talk.”

These four monks covered their mouths when they found they failed the examination.

At this moment, Bodhidharma opened his eyes and took out a ceramic dish and polishing it on the table.

Monk A asked Bodhidharma, “What are you doing?”

Bodhidharma answered, “I am polishing the dish until it turns into a mirror.”

Monk B said, “Dish never can turn into mirror like this!”

Bodhidharma replied, “True. Same idea, meditation will never make you enlightened.”

Monk C thought about his analogy and asked, “So, how can we can get enlightened?”

Bidhidharma said, “Enlightenment requires you to go back to your foundation. You need to start from your heart. It is the first place for your thoughts and activities. If you don’t understand this basic step, you are wasting your time in practicing Buddhism.”

When he first met his master – Immortal Chung Lay – Immortal Chung Lay asked him, “What do you want to learn from me?”

Immortal Lui asked, “What can you teach me?”

Immortal Chung Lay replied, “I can teach you two things: the first one is turning a rock to gold by touching it; and the other is the Taoism. You only can pick one.”

Immortal Lui asked, “Will the gold turns back to a rock later?”

Immortal Chung Lay replied, “Yes, it will turn back to a rock after 500 years.”

Immortal Lui asked again, “What is the benefit of learning Taoism?”

Immortal Chung Lay replied, “You will at liberty to enjoy oneself if you success, but it is very tough during learning.”

Immortal Lui said, “In this case, I will choose to learn Taoism from you.”

Immortal Chung Lay asked, “Why?”

Immortal Lui answered, “If I learn how to change a rock to gold by touching it, I can get the benefit now but I will hurt the people 500 years later.”

Since Immortal Lui has a good heart, he was able to meet a good master and become successful in learning Taoism. In comparison, turning a rock to gold is a little magic he can perform anytime.

Scholar and the old monk

One day, an old monk was sitting in the temple and enjoying his tea, and then a scholar came to visit the temple. The monk invited the scholar to have a tea.
The scholar asked the old monk, “I am teaching Buddhism in the university for so many years, and I studied most of the Buddhist bibles. In fact, I can repeat the whole collection of the Buddhist Bibles from the first chapter to the last chapter by memory. I practice everyday and I see everything has no differences, nothing is bordering me. Am I in the right track?

The old monk smiled and didn’t answer him. At the same time, the old monk picked up a pot and added up some more tea into the scholar’s cup. The monk continues to do that and the tea over flew the cup.

The scholar stopped the old monk and said, “Did I ask you a difficult question that makes you nervous?”

The old monk smiled and said, “No, I already answered your question.”

Algunos maestros de Feng Shui siempre alientan a sus estudiantes a leer más clásicos del Feng Shui. El motivo es bueno como muchos maestros antiguos publican libros para transferir su conocimiento a otros, mientras muchos maestros actuales publican libros para aumentar su fama.

A causa de la razón anterior algunos maestros incluso creen que los antiguos libros de Feng Shui deben estar correctos.

Este argumento suena muy lógico, pero en realidad propone un gran problema. Cuando lea mi libro reorganizado “Tin Yuk Ging – Chu Ka Ju” (el libro del Cielo Turquesa – explicado por varias escuelas), usted verá que todas las explicaciones están hechas por grandes maestros del Feng Shui que son muy famosos. Sin embargo ellos tienen una cosa en común; todos son expertos en antiguos dialectos chinos.

Es por eso esencial mirar un asunto desde un punto de vista objetivo y desde diferentes ángulos, analizar esos asuntos desde sus diferencias y similitudes para encontrar el punto correcto. Si podemos seguir esta fórmula seremos capaces de resolver los misterios y de encontrar nuevas teorías.

Piense en esto, las personas en la antigüedad no tenían los “antiguos clásicos”, entonces ¿De quiénes podían tomar referencia para dar soporte a sus argumentos? Como nuestros antiguos talentos pudieron romper reglas ¿Cómo podemos nosotros usar las palabras de las personas de la antigüedad para dar suporte a nuestros pensamientos? ¿Por qué no podemos desarrollar nuestras propias teorías?

Para que un libro se convierta en un clásico deben pasar varios años. Trate de responder esto: si hoy un falso maestro escribe algunos maestros de Feng Shui que se convertirán en los clásicos del mañana y que nuestros sucesores crean sin dudas en esos “clásicos” ¿Qué tipo de conocimiento obtendrán nuestros sucesores?

Hoy la mayor parte de los clásicos del Feng Shui a los cuales podemos acceder, son de maestros inferiores. La literatura está pobremente hecha y muchos de ellos contienen teorías contradictorias. Aquellos que están escritos por eruditos tienen un muy buen flujo y una buena gramática, pero están viviendo en sus propios pensamientos y fantasías sin tener experiencias prácticas. Este tipo de literatura es buena para aprender gramática y fortalecer la creatividad de una persona, pero seguir las prácticas de allí sería cavar su propia tumba, sin retorno. Solo hay unos pocos que tienen contenido y excelente perspectiva que los aprendices pueden elegir, sin embargo, aquella literatura está falta de flujo y de intereses y además los aprendices sin linaje son incapaces de encontrar los verdaderos contenidos y secretos dentro ellos. Esta es la principal idea que los maestros de la antigua China sigue: “Pasa el libro, pero no la llave”. Es por lo mismo que es importante tener un buen maestro.

In the ancient China, Buddhism was the new religious and starting influence China. There were 2 monks living in a country call “Suk 蜀”, one is rich and one is poor. Both of them wish to bring more Buddhist Bibles from India. The rich monk always want to save more money to afford his journey, he keep waiting until he feel enough of the travel expense. The poor monk hadn’t thought too much, he started his journey to India. Five years later, the poor monk bring back a lot of Buddhist Bibles and the rich monk still had not save enough of money for him to start the journey.

Agony of Despairs

Most people use their own knowledge to review the common “fortunes and misfortunes”. This method would not propose any problem when examining the regular Feng Shui case; however, contradicting scenario would arise when encountering special cases.

Of course, it would not be difficult for an individual to solve the puzzle by learning from others before being a master; but after becoming a famous master, who would be willing to tell others that his/her teaching materials are fraudulent theories? As a result, the so-called “master” would lie to the public and hide the true problems from the students.

From a personal or business perspective, the reactions of those masters cannot be viewed as doubtful behaviour. Who would agree to destroy one’s own path and start all over again? And who would have the courage to lower one’s own dignity and accept the consequences from others’ contempt?

From an educational point of view, these kinds of reaction would cause harms to the knowledge.

Throughout history, I only recall Master Tam Yeung Wu (談養吾) had publicly announced his doubts on his own Feng Shui knowledge. However, at a very old age, he was unable to do anything to correct the mistakes – one thing that he was very regretful about.

From Master Tam’s incident, it reminded me a conversation that I had with my Chinese Calligraphy teacher. He told me there was once an individual who wants to study Chinese Calligraphy with him; this individual even brought his work to the teacher and claimed that he has been practicing for 30 years. My teacher took a look and slightly said, “Very good, keep up with your practice”.

Although this individual had been practicing Chinese Calligraphy for 30 years, his method of writing was wrong – not a single stroke was right.

My teacher was very humble and considerate, he didn’t want to destroy that individual’s confidence and dignity; hence, he just told this individual to keep on practice.

Let’s think about this in a logical way: before pen was introduced to China, most Chinese used Calligraphy brush to write. Though there were many neat and organized writings, how come there are only a few Chinese Calligraphy Specialists or Artists?

The negative impact of a wrong Chinese Calligraphy writing method is unable to become a Chinese Calligraphy Professional, but the words could still be organized and eye-appealing. What about Feng Shui? If a Feng Shui practitioner uses the wrong method, it will affect him/herself and others – causing extermination of a family.

For a few dollars and praises within a small circle, are you willing to walk on the slaughter’s path of no return?

La mayoría de las escuelas de Feng Shui aconsejarían a sus estudiantes investigar las antiguas tumbas del Feng Shui; es por eso que visitar las 10 tumbas famosas del Feng Shui en Hong Kong es un estudio crucial para la mayoría de las clases de Feng Shui. De hecho, cada maestro de Feng Shui debe conocer la ubicación de cada famosa tumba.

Aunque estas 10 tumbas son muy famosas, si usted pregunta cual es la primera tumba entre las otras, cada maestro tendrá una opinión diferente. La razón principal es que el conocimiento de cada maestro está a un nivel distinto. Sólo imagine, si cada maestro tiene el mismo entrenamiento su perspectiva de Luen Tau ( 巒頭) debería ser el mismo; es por eso que todos los libros de Feng Shui afirman que “Luen Tau Mo Kar 巒頭無假” (traducción directa: Luen Tau no sería falso).

Ahora volviendo al tema original- ¿Cómo pueden haber tantas opiniones diferentes?- uno de los problemas está relacionado a los muchos “llamados” maestros, quienes sólo repiten las palabras de los maestros ancestrales y de los libros sin realmente digerir y analizar aquella información. Si la tumba no esta allí, ellos son incapaces de encontrar un punto de sepultura “Lung Yuen 龍穴”; sin mencionar el proceso de entierro apropiado, la profundidad de la tumba, los estilos de ésta, etc. Así mismo, ¿cuántos maestros pueden entender las razones de la ubicación de ciertas tumbas en lugares específicos y las ventajas y desventajas de cada tumba?

Pregunta para tener en cuenta: cuando aprende de su maestro, ¿acaso usted se pregunta o le pregunta a su maestro sobre esa información?

Cuando les enseñé a mis alumnos interinos en el pasado, solía preguntarles antes que ellos me lo preguntasen a mi porque esto los haría pensar más, alentándolos a ser más responsables para con el público y convirtiéndolos en maestros más éticos.

Para aprender Feng Shui, usted debe visitar un cementerio junto a su maestro y pedirle que encuentre la mejor tumba y que le explique las razones por lo cual lo hizo. Luego usted necesita buscar a los descendientes del dueño de la tumba y probar la efectividad de los conocimientos de su maestro. Si su maestro está en lo correcto encontrar un buen punto de entierro no será difícil para el o ella.

Para los practicantes que se concentran en el Feng Shui Yan: ¿alguna vez ha visitado algún edificio de departamentos con su maestro y le ha pedido que le indique cuál es el mejor? Muchos de ustedes practican el Feng Shui utilizando gráficos y orientaciones, pero en un departamento muchos de ellos gráficos y orientaciones idénticas, entonces ¿Cómo puede explicar las diferencias en la realidad? Hoy el ambiente ha cambiado. There are three kinds of attitude when an individual is exposed to the idea of Feng Shui:

1.) Believe Feng Shui without a doubt, anything that he or she does will require Feng Shui consultation
2.) Believe Feng Shui with doubts – it’s better to believe the existence of Feng Shui than omit the idea completely; there’s nothing to lose
3.) Doubt Feng Shui completely

Any type of people mentioned above actually has biases toward Feng Shui.

The first type of people believes Feng Shui completely; their life is controlled by Feng Shui. People under this category are living in a life as a doll.

The second type of people does not have their own thoughts. They believe in Feng Shui because they don’t want to lose opportunities – motive is based on greed.

The last type of people is unable to view an issue without bias; they do not open their mind to think of the possibility of Feng Shui’s existence.

If you want to understand Feng Shui thoroughly, you must have the qualities of each type of the people mentioned above. This will lead you to view the subject of Feng Shui in the most neutral way.

Most people who learn Feng Shui overlooked this core issue, and the reasons for it are:

1.) Human Factor:
• Misinterpret Feng Shui books
• Different masters have different level of skills
• Different views and sights due to different body structure
• Inaccurate tools
• Different methods in using the tools

2.) Environment Factor:
• Natural changes in the environment

** Self learn from the books *

Some Feng Shui masters always encourage their students to read more Feng Shui classics. The motive is good as many ancient masters publish books for transferring their knowledge to others; whereas many current Feng Shui masters publish books for improving their fame.

Because of the above reason, some masters even believe that the ancient Feng Shui books must be correct.

This argument sounds very logic, but it proposes a very huge problem in reality. When you read my reorganized book, “Tin Yuk Ging – Chu Ka Ju” (The book of Sky Jade – Explained by Various Schools), you will see the explanations are all done by Feng Shui grand masters who are very famous. However, they have one thing in common - they are all experts in ancient Chinese dialects.

When examine one sentence, every person has his or her own perspective and understanding! Each person has a different explanation. As a result, the usage of law of Qi (some of the current masters call “Compass School”) is different. If we said they are explaining the ancient Feng Shui classics, why won’t we say they are writing their own thesis.

Referencing the classics to strengthen one’s argument is a reasonable practice, because many people believe if the person is not famous, the idea that he or she presents is a fallacy. Many people would not absorb or try to fully understand the concepts by the author.

For those who tried to search the true knowledge, this is an obstacle; and if this is not removed, it will be difficult to improve. It is, therefore, essential to view an issue with an unbiased mind, and from different angles. Analyze those issues from their differences and similarities to find the right point. If we can follow this path, we will be able to solve the mysteries and find the new theories.

Think about this, ancient people do not have the “Ancient Classics”, so who can they reference to for supporting their arguments? As our ancient talents can break the rules, how come we, in the present, must use previous people’s words to support our thoughts? Why can’t we develop our own theories?

In order for a book to become a classic, it must go through many years. Try to answer this: if today’s fake master wrote some Feng Shui books that become tomorrow’s classics, and that our successors believe in those “classics” without doubts, what kind of knowledge will our successors get?

Today, most of the Feng Shui classics that we can access to are from inferior masters. The literatures themselves are poorly done, and many of them contained contradicting theories. Those that are written by scholars have very good flow and grammar, but they are living in their own thoughts and fantasies without practical experiences. This kind of literatures is nice for learning grammar and strengthening one’s creativities, but following the practices from it would be digging a grave for oneself. Unable to return. There are only a few that have contents and excellent perspective that learners can select; however those literatures are lack of flows and interests that non-linage learners are unable to find the true contents and secrets within it. This is the main idea that ancient Chinese masters follow: Pass the book, but not the key. This is also why it is important to have a good master.

El Feng Shui tiene una larga historia, antiguamente el conocimiento solo era transferido verbalmente, no existía ningún instituto organizado que lo hiciera. Los antiguos Maestros confirman que este conocimiento pertenecía al de los académicos de la realeza, el cual desafiaba el deseo de Dios. Desde entonces, los Maestros ancestrales fueron muy cuidadosos en escoger a sus sucesores, ellos no querían hacer enojar a Dios.

Durante el nuevo período de China, el Maestro de Feng Shui Tam Yeung Ng (談養吾) fue el primero en comenzar los cursos a distancia. Consecuentemente, desde 1970 a 1980, el Maestro Tseng Chi Nam (曾子南) también uso este método de enseñanza en Taiwán. Sin embargo, el Feng Shui no era tan popular en ese momento; no lo fue, hasta que a finales de los 80’ el Maestro Song Siu Kwong (宋韶光) fue invitado a hablar acerca del Feng Shui en televisión en Hong Kong. Poco a poco las clases fueron en auge. Más y más gente conocía acerca del Feng Shui. Nuevos maestros y practicantes salieron a la luz en menos de un año, algunos de ellos eran incluso menores de 20 años. Cualquiera que tuviese una Brújula China podía ser el título de “Maestro”. A medida que más gente fue inmigrando hacia otros países antes de 1997, la creencia del Feng Shui comenzó a expandirse globalmente, y parte de este conocimiento fue traducido a diferentes idiomas.

Desde un punto de vista optimista, esto hizo que el antiguo Conocimiento ancestral de China, se volviera más popular y diera más oportunidades al público de leer libros de Feng Shui antiguos (oferta y demanda). Sin embargo, desde el punto de vista pesimista, la falta de revisión y evaluación de los principios del Feng Shui antes de enseñarlos a otros, produjo una gran desventaja en este estudio. Esto podría compararse a una persona ciega guiando a otro grupo de personas ciegas para cruzar la calle, lo cual sería muy peligroso en ambos casos para este grupo de personas y para el público. Esto llevaría al Feng Shui en una dirección equivocada, mientras que el verdadero conocimiento desaparecería.

Cuando yo comencé a aprender Feng Shui, la mayoría de los verdaderos maestros estaban escondidos en la sociedad. Algunos de ellos preferían trabajar en un campo diferente al del Feng Shui, dado que no querían ayudar o enseñar a la persona equivocada. Ellos sólo le enseñarían a alguien en que realmente confiaran, esto es porque existe una “Ley Universal” la cual deben seguir todos los maestros. En ese período era muy difícil encontrar a un verdadero maestro y el dinero era inservible en esta situación. Si no eras capaz de ver con ojos sabios, jamás encontrarías al verdadero maestro; si no eras lo suficientemente humilde jamás serías capaz de hablar de Feng Shui con ellos. Si bien podías entrar en sus casas probablemente jamás obtendrías un horario académico. Cuando el maestro te enseñaba una teoría, necesitabas aplicarla en otras teorías, así como también, requerirías bastante tiempo para digerirla. Como resultado aquéllos maestros graduados tenían una sólida base, pero un débil sistema de enseñanza. Como era difícil obtener el conocimiento, ellos preferían guardarlo como un secreto, ése fue uno de los mayores problemas que tuvimos para aprender el Feng Shui en ese tiempo.

Actualmente el Feng Shui parece tener un mejor sistema y cada clase tiene un programa similar. Si te atreves a preguntarle a alguno de esos profesores acerca de los principios que enseñan y de los resultados de aquellos principios, la mayoría de ellos no sería capaz de responder, puesto que solo copian de libros o de los materiales del maestro. Cuando un estudiante hacía preguntas mas profundas, ellos darían una respuesta incorrecta o crearían un nuevo concepto del Feng Shui, porque no son capaces de entender completamente el conocimiento, de esta forma estarían guiando a sus seguidores hacia la dirección equivocada, pero ¿a quién le importa?

En este mundo capitalista, el marketing es la clave del éxito, pero no el camino. Muchos aprendices de feng Shui se identifican como maestros y dictan seminarios dirigidos al público sin ninguna prueba de su conocimiento, ellos no quieren perder la oportunidad de obtener beneficios y ganancias del mercado del Feng Shui y hacen todo lo posible para conseguirlo. Basados en sus propios beneficios, se levantan argumentos entre diferentes escuelas, como también entre los maestros y sus estudiantes. Los recién llegado al Feng Shui están experimentando dificultades al momento de decidir a quién seguir, siendo éste uno de los mayores problemas que deben enfrentar los aprendices de Feng Shui.
Comencé a estudiar la Metafísica China en 1972 y desde este año al año en el cual comencé a enseñar
I- Ching en la universidad de Hong Kong, ya tenía 18 años de práctica. A través de esos años probé mi conocimiento y estaba muy seguro de poder identificar los defectos de las diferentes prácticas del Feng Shui, antes de comenzar mi carrera como maestro. El conocimiento que enseño a mis estudiantes fue probado por mí, usted se podrá dar cuenta cuando tenga la oportunidad de aprenderlo de mí. Sea bienvenido a compararlo con lo que ha aprendido antes.

Escoger a un verdadero maestro no es difícil, pero lo más importante es tener la actitud adecuada para entrar en el campo del Feng Shui. El tipo de persona que usted sea atraerá a un tipo de maestro en su vida. Además, todos los verdaderos maestros tiene un claro linaje y tampoco les gusta discutir con otros, son mas humildes y no les gusta presumir de su enseñanza, ellos le demostrarán su conocimiento. Cuando aplique su conocimiento, obtendrá por lo menos un 80% de exactitud en el resultado. Los maestros serán selectivos al momento de elegir a sus estudiantes y clientes; si usted detecta algunos de estos síntomas en su maestro, podrá seguirlo y confirmar si es o no el maestro indicado para usted.

Tal como lo dice el antiguo proverbio Chino: “abra sus sabios ojos para elegir antes de elegir con sus oídos”

Most Feng Shui Schools would advise their students to do research on the ancient Feng Shui Tombs; therefore visiting the 10 Famous Feng Shui Tombs in Hong Kong is a crucial study for most of the Feng Shui classes. In fact, every Feng Shui master must know the location of each famous Feng Shui Tomb.

Although these 10 Feng Shui Tombs are very famous, if you ask which is the number one tomb among those graves, every master will have a different opinion. And the main reason is that each master’s Feng Shui knowledge is at a different level.
Just imagine, if every master had the same training, their perspective of Luen Tau ( 巒頭) should be the same; that is why all the Feng Shui books state that “Luen Tau Mo Kar巒頭無假” (direct translation: Luen Tau would not be fake).

Now, back to the original topic – how come there are so many different opinions? One of the problems is related to many “so-called” masters who only repeat the words of the previous masters and books without really digesting and analyzing those information. If the tomb is not there, they are unable to spot any burial point - “Lung Yuen 龍穴”; not to mention the proper burial process, the depth of the grave, the grave styles, and etc. Likewise, how many masters can understand the reasons that certain graves are located at certain places and the advantages and disadvantages of each tomb?

Question to keep in mind: when you learned from your master, did you inquire yourself or your master about those information?

When I taught my in-house students in the past, I would question them before they ask me because this will make them think more; encouraging to become more responsible to the public and become a more ethical master.

In order to learn Feng Shui, you must visit a cemetry with your master and ask him/her to spot the best one grave and explain the reasons for it. Afterward, you need to research the offsprings of the tomb’s owner and proof the accuracy of your master’s knowledge. If your master is correct, finding a good burial point won’t be difficult for him/her.

For practitioners who focus on the Yan Feng Shui, have you visit some apartment building with you master and ask him/her to indicate the best unit? Many of you practice Feng Shui using charts and facings, but in an apartment, many units have the identical chart and facing, so how can you explain the differences in reality?
When you completed the above research, you might just enter the Feng Shui door. When you are able to find the right place within a short period of time, you should be heading the right direction; at least, you are not becoming a fake Feng Shui master.

When I was learning and teaching Feng Shui in Hong Kong, I still had the fortune to do some complete review of those 10 famous Grave and understand why they were chosen to be the top 10 famous Graves in Hong Kong. Today, all the enviroment has changed. The once good Luen Tau is no longer viewable due to the massive constructions in Hong Kong. This is telling us that the new Feng Shui learners does not have enough fortune learn, which totally proofs the ancient book’s saying, “ If a client want to get a good Feng Shui place without building up a good heart, a real master would never disclose the truth. 若然求地不重德，穩口深藏舌。”

Whether it is a good idea to study the previous tombs or not highly depends on which Feng Shui Grave you are researching.

As one of our students strongly emphasized “be careful which master you study from” because your master has an enormous amount of impact on your study route.

At the same, it your personality and your heart that decide what kind of master you will become.

Feng Shui has a long time history, the knowledge was only transfer verbally without an organized institute. Our previous masters confirmed that this knowledge was belonging to the Royal Academic’s knowledge, which challenges the God’s wish. Therefore our previous masters were very careful in choosing their inheritors; they didn’t want to get the God mad.

During the New China period, Feng Shui Master Tam Yeung Ng (談養吾) was the first one to start the distance learning courses of the Feng Shui. Consequently, from 1970 to 1980, Master Tseng Chi Nam (曾子南) in Taiwan also used this type of method to teach Feng Shui. However, Feng Shui was not that popular during this moment. It was until Master Song Siu Kwong (宋韶光) got invited to talk about Feng Shui on the television in Hong Kong during the late 1980s, Feng Shui became more popular. Feng Shui classes were booming. More and more people knew about Feng Shui. New masters and practitioners were coming out in less than a year. Some of them were below the age of 20. Everyone who had a Chinese Compass can be called “Master”. As more people immigrated to other countries before 1997, the Feng Shui belief started to expand from its origin to globally, and part of this knowledge was translated into different languages.

From the optimistic point of view, this has made the Chinese Ancient knowledge become more popular and allow more chances for the public to read more Ancient Feng Shui Books (supply and demand). However, from the pessimistic standpoint, the lack of reviewing and evaluating the Feng Shui principles before teaching others propose a big drawback to this study. It is similar to a blind person leading another group of blind people to cross the road. It is very dangerous for this group of people and the public. This will make Feng Shui end up in the wrong direction while the true knowledge will be disappeared.

When I started learning Feng Shui, most of the real masters were hidden in the society. Some of them preferred to work in a different area instead of the Feng Shui field as they didn’t want to help or teach a wrong person. They only taught someone whom they really trust. It is because there is a “Universal Law” which all the real masters must follow. During that time, finding a true master is very difficult and money was useless in this situation. If you didn’t have a pair of wisdom eyes, you would never find a real master. If you were not humble enough, you would never get a chance to talk about Feng Shui with them. Although you might get into the door, you would never have a learning schedule. When the master taught you one theory; you needed to apply it into other theories. You needed to spend a lot of time to digest. As a result, those graduated masters had a solid foundation while a weak system in teaching. As it was hard to get the knowledge, they preferred to keep it as a secret. That was the problem for us to learn Feng Shui during that moment.

Nowadays Feng Shui seems to have a better system, and every Feng Shui class have a similar syllabus. If you dare to ask those teachers about the principles that they teach and the results of those principles, most of them couldn’t answer because they just copy either from the book or their masters’ materials. When a student asked some deeper questions, they might give a wrong answer or create a new concept of Feng Shui because they do not fully understanding the knowledge. They guide their followers into the wrong direction. But who cares?

In this money-talking world, marketing is the key to success, not the skill. A lot of Feng Shui learners claim themselves as a Feng Shui master and give Feng Shui seminars to the public without any proof of their knowledge. They do not want to miss the hot Feng Shui market. They try their best to maximize the profit in this hot market. Based on their own benefits, arguments arise among the different schools as well as between the masters and their students. Feng Shui newcomers are experiencing difficulties to decide whom they should follow. This one of the main problems for today’s Feng Shui learners.

I started learning Chinese Metaphysics in 1972; and from this year to the year I started teaching I-Ching in the continue education of Chinese University in Hong Kong, I already had 18 years of practice. Through out those years, I had prove my knowledge and I was very confident that I can identify the flaws of various Feng Shui practices out in the public before I started my teaching career. The knowledge that I taught my students was proved by me. You will find it out when one day you get the chance to learn from me. You are welcome to compare what you have learned before.

Choosing a real master is not difficult; but the most important is to have the right attitude to get into the Feng Shui field. What kind of person you are will attract what kind of master in your life. Furthermore, all the real masters have a clear linage; they don’t like to argue with others. They are more humble and don’t like to show off. They will show you the proof for their knowledge. When you apply his/her knowledge, you will get at least 80% accuracy in the result. They will be more selective in choosing their clients and students. If you find this kind of symptoms in your masters, you can follow them and confirm whether they are the right masters for you or not.

As the old Chinese saying, "Open your wisdom eyes to select is better than use your ears to select."
